Domain Name Registration
GoDaddy is a good, all-purpose domain name registrar. Their prices for renewal after the first year or after promotional offers, however, can increase, so be aware. They also have good compatibility for using email systems more powerful than their own, such os G-Suite (formerly Google Apps) and Microsoft’s Outlook.
DreamHost is our favorite domain name registrar for a couple basic reasons: it’s easy and the prices on annual renewals rarely increase. We have a moderate number of domain names registered through DreamHost and it was 5+ years before we ever saw in increase.
